Delivering trusted environments
HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT TO OTHER PROVIDERS?
Aker Systems is an innovative business which delivers Systems Integrator levels of strategy, planning and quality with the responsiveness and flexibility of an SME.
Subject Matter Experts
We have a broad range of in-house expertise on which to draw; unlike many technology businesses we do not use "partners" to work on customer projects.
Rather than designing a solution to a budget, our engineers use blueprints, Aker Know How™ and a commitment to unlocking the full capability of our technology stack to ensure an optimal outcome for our customer.
Focus On Business Value
A strong culture of business engagement and user research ensures that support and development teams understand the business impacts of incidents, changes and features that they are managing.
Senior Team Member Bias
Our service and product teams are comprised of disproportionally high numbers of experienced team members, which enables us to deliver higher productivity in fast paced, Agile operating environments.
We Understand Risk
Aker Systems' project and support approach includes frameworks for taking our customer through risk matrices and providing worked through mitigations to ensure that risks do not impact project delivery.
We Do The Right Thing
We support the Ministry of Defence’s Career Transition Partnership and are an equal opportunities employer.
OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM
The Aker Systems management team is comprised of former Senior Managers of large Systems Integrators, including IBM and BAE Systems.
