Aker wins deal of the year award

At the prestigious annual Business Magazine’s Thames Valley Deals Awards, Aker Systems won the award for Mid-range Deal of the Year. The award was recognition of the outstanding work done by the Aker team in securing a significant minority investment from LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group.

On completing their initial 2020 investment, Chris Baker, Investment Director at LDC, said: “The team at Aker Systems has developed a market leading and highly sophisticated proposition which helps very large organisations operate more efficiently in the public cloud, enabling superior use of data whilst also delivering performance and cost benefits.”
