Transparency in a post-pandemic world

We finally got our employees together to hear from the leadership team face to face, in the splendid surrounds of the Soho Hotel. Recent company events have included table tennis, football, and a boat trip on the Thames, but this was our first post-Covid foray into a more formal corporate setting. The powerpoint was kept to a minimum though, and much discussion was had over drinks and what might be the most elaborate canapés in London. There was even some birthday cake and embarrassing singing to surprise our CEO Darren, who was uncharacteristically lost for words. The central theme was one of transparency over company performance, strategy, and plans, and the detail was welcomed by all, at what will now become a repeat event. Balancing remote working with a family culture is never easy, and with staff growth of 151% over the last two years, almost everyone met someone new for the first time. A great success and planning is already underway for the next event.
